The Fort Myers Fencing Club has been promoting the sport of modern fencing for the last thirty years. It is our goal to promote awareness and actively recruit young athletes to this sport. Many young people do not enjoy team sports. Fencing is ideal for these kids. Fencing is a fast-paced, one-on-one sport that helps build strength, co-ordination, self-esteem…and it's one heck of a lot of fun!

But we don't draw the line with young people. Fencing is a sport for all ages, with different levels of competition locally and nationally. It's fast and competitive - a "moving chess game" and a great stress reliever. We encourage everyone to become involved and participate, whether your goal is to just get a good workout or compete at the local, regional, or national level.

Most people who join our club have never fenced before. That's why we offer lessons! Don't let lack of experience stop you from giving us a call.
